Mike Winckler - Guitar & Vocals

Mike's first memory of being excited about music is when he saw the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan show. Although initially infatuated with the British Invasion music, the variety of great music being played in the 60's and 70's help him to learn to love all kinds of music. After spending time playing folk, jazz, and classical guitar, he is happy to be playing good old "roots" rock and roll with 45 RPM. Mike also performs solo, playing and singing both traditional and modern folk and blues.

Mike was starting his junior year in the University of Oregon's music program when he met Leslie and Ramona, his future wife and daughter. It was at that time he realized that helping to support a family and going to school in music were mutually exclusive activities, so Mike left academia for the working world. Mike and Leslie rounded out the family with a son, Evan, and now live in Stoughton.
